Description

tactIO is a robot force-control software product developed by simVITRO at Cleveland Clinic. It provides up to six degrees of freedom of force control for robotic manufacturing tasks and is intended to let operators configure processes without conventional robot programming. The simVITRO group provides systems engineering, software, hardware and integration around the product. Its work combines robotics and force sensing for manufacturing and biomedical test applications.
